HOW YOU CAN STAY HEALTHY
HOW WE CAN STAY HEALTHY
Health is very important for a
person. No one could live a peaceful life without health. If you are healthy,
you are enjoying your life and live peacefully. Here I’m telling you some
points, if you follow all these points you can stay healthyA healthy lifestyle
can help you thrive throughout your life. Making healthy decisions is not
always easy, however. It can be hard to find the time and energy to exercise
regularly or to prepare a healthy diet. However, your efforts will pay off in
many ways, and for the rest of your life.
Steps you can take:
- · Be physically active for 30 minutes most days of the week. Divide this
into 3 to 10 minutes when you are pressed for time. Healthy walking can include
walking, sports, dancing, yoga, running or other activities you enjoy.
- · Eat nutritious, low-fat foods with lots of fruit, vegetables and grains.
Choose foods high in saturated fat and cholesterol, and measure sugar, salt and
saturated fats.
- · Avoid getting your tire in the tram rails; it's a nasty fall. If you have
a gun, be aware of the dangers of having a gun in your home. Always use safety
precautions.
- · Don't smoke, or quit if you smoke. Ask your healthcare provider for help.
The UCSF Tobacco Education Center offers smoking cessation and reversal of
prevention classes and medical consultations for smokers who are trying to
quit.
- · Drink in moderation when drinking alcohol. Never drink before or while
driving, or while pregnant.
- · Ask someone you trust if you think you may be addicted to drugs or
alcohol.
- · Help prevent sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV / AIDS by
using condoms every time you have sex. Condoms say 100% stupid, so discuss an
STI test with your provider. Contraceptive methods without condoms, such as
pills and implants, will not protect you from STIs or HIV.
- · Brush your teeth after eating with a soft or medium toothbrush. Also
brush after drinking and before bed. Use dental floss daily.
- · Stay in the sun, especially between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. when harmful
sunlight is too strong. You are not protected in the clouds or in the water -
harmful radiation passes through both. Use a wide sunscreen that protects the
UVA and UVB rays, with 15 or more sun protection factor (SPF). Choose
sunglasses that block 99 to 100 percent of the sun's rays.
