WHAT CAUSES ACNE?

What causes acne? There is no single cause for acne. Acne mainly occurs when the sebaceous glands (hair) attached to the hair follicles are stimulated during puberty or as a result of other hormonal changes. Sebum (oil) is a natural substance that softens and protects the skin. Associated with increased fuel production is a change in the way skin cells grow, which puts them at the forefront of mixing pore follicular. The plug can appear as a white head if it is covered with a thin layer of skin, or when exposed to the air, the prominent black part of the plug is called a "blackhead."
